Sunnybank

Sunnybank is in the middle of Lamlash, at the end of a quiet lane overlooking the village but away from the hustle and bustle.

The cottage has wonderful uninterrupted views to Holy Isle and is only a five-minute walk away from the beach, pier and village shops.

The cottage itself has double and twin bedrooms, each with washbasins. All beds have electric blankets and duvets and there are spare blankets too. The lounge diner is a good size and has splendid views over Lamlash Bay, providing constant pleasure and interest even on rainy days! There is a radio, TV and plenty of books and games. The kitchen is small, but very well planned and equipped; it has a cooker, fridge and microwave. There is also a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer at the cottage. The kitchen window also overlooks Lamlash Bay. The bathroom has a bath, electric shower, toilet and washbasin.

There is a lawn at the rear of the cottage and a stepped and terraced patio at the front. The access to Sunnybank is via a sloping path and a few steps down. There is a stream (fenced off) at the side of the cottage. Because of the access, the stream and the terraced garden I do not recommend Sunnybank for families with toddlers and people of impaired mobility.

Sunnybank is a warm and cosy cottage, has Total Control heating in all rooms, and is suitable for holidays at any time of year. Our many regular visitors will vouch for its comfort.
