From the nearest information centre:- From Selkirk Tourist Information Centre, travel South on the A7 signposted for Hawick and Ashkirk is situated 5 miles from Selkirk. To find our cottages, turn left off the A7 just on the opposite side of Ashkirk village. Turn onto tree-lined driveway, follow until you find stone farmhouse on the left hand side.
Getting there by railway:- Nearest stations are Edinburgh and Carlisle, one hour away.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport A8 to A720 city by-pass onto the A7 heading for Galashiels. Follow signpost for Selkirk, Ashkirk being 5 miles South of Selkirk. Synton Mains is on the opposite side of the A7 from the main entry into Ashkirk Village.
