Tayandock cottage is an escapist's heaven. It sits in an elevated position and boasts spectacular uninterrupted south facing views over Loch Indaal to Bowmore and Port Charlotte.
Accessed by a quiet single track road and surrounded by fields, it offers quiet seclusion yet is located just over 1 mile from the amenities in Bridgend and is only 10 minutes walk from the beach. It enjoys a central position within the island which allows quick access to all the island's attractions such as the long sandy beaches, trout and salmon fishing, golf or the world famous distilleries. Tayandock is a traditional stonebuilt whitewashed cottage. It was built in the nineteenth century and has undergone renovation and extension to a high standard. It offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to 9 people.
The cottage has a large walled garden with extensive lawn area where children can play safely while parents can relax in the peaceful surroundings. There is a large driveway that has ample space for parking and allows for easy turning. There is a patio with a wooden picnic table which seats 8 adults. There are two benches at the front of the house to allow you to sit and soak up the views here as well.
On the ground floor there are two double rooms and one twin room. There is one bathroom and one shower room on this floor. On the upper floor there is a large en suite double bedroom with an extra single bed.
There is one living room downstairs with TV( Freesat), DVD player and Ipod dock. Upstairs there is a further lounge and library.
The kitchen is well equipped and has an adjoining utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
