The lounge dining room has comfortable new sofas and a Smart TV to keep up with Facebook and internet.There is free Wifi too. Central heating and double glazing means the apartment is warm for the off eason months.
The kitchen area has new equipment including dishwasher and large fridge freezer, washer dryer and microwave and full cooker. Cleaning items including dishwasher tablets and tea towels are provided.
The bathroom has the advantage of a full size bath, a large eperate shower cubicle and an illuminated mirror with shaver point. Organic soap, made specially for Border Holiday Homes, is provided together with bath and hand towels.
The double bedroom has a high quality double bed with the option of duvet or sheets and blankets. A second wall mounted TV with free view is provided. The mirrored wardrobe and top boxes provide lots of storage areas.
Spittal is a lovely location for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland Coastline. The L.S. Lowry trail around Berwick and takes you by the historic medieval walls. The Northumberland coastal Path is close by and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is only fifteen minutes drive away. Visit the historic houses and castles in the area-Paxton House, Manderston, and Gunsgreen House where you can find out about the smuggling historuy. For golfers the local courses, Magdalen Fields and Eyemouth and Duns are within 10 miles.
In Berwick there is a thriving Theatre and Cinema and many good pubs, restaurants and shops plus banks
While in the area it is easy to visit Edinburgh in only 45 minutes as the main line station has frequent services to Scotland's capital . The A1 by passes the town so it is easy to come from North and south
