The Booth

The Booth - Comfort, space and freedom for all the family! Relax in spacious accommodation in a peaceful rural location while being only just over a mile from the amenities in the village of Scalloway ( shops, restaurants, swimming pool, play park local museum) and within seven miles of two golf courses.

Only ten miles from Lerwick, Shetland's main town, the Booth is also within easy reach of all the places of interest, shops, restaurants and amenities offered there.

Have breakfast in the bright kitchen/diner while looking over the water eastwards towards the Clift hills

Cook meals with local organic produce in the fully equipped kitchen, take an evening off and eat in a local restaurant or bring home a take away!

Watch the local bird life (and very often seals) from the large picture window in the lounge that has spectacular views southwards over Clift Sound towards Fitful Head.

Explore the pebbly beach that is a stones throw from the front door, walk the shoreline of Trondra, or across the nearby bridge and scale the Clift hills to gain magnificent views both to the south and west of Shetland.

Experience the sounds of the sea birds and visit the sandy beaches on nearby Burra Isle (just across the next bridge)

Snuggle up and read a book in the comfortable lounge or play a game of basketball on the tarmac at the end of the house!
An ideal location for that family holiday and enough space to bring Granny and Grandad too!
The house has two double bedrooms, two twin bedded rooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge if extra beds are needed.
Travel cots as required.

Welcome!
