Individually designed, built in 2007 and equipped to luxurious standards providing wonderful accommodation for two. You will want for nothing in this home-from-home in central Skye.
Now available throughout the year - 4 and 5-night breaks, and no fixed start days - bookable online from our website link. The Bothy at Number 7 is a one-bedroomed cottage rising in 2007 on the site of an old wood and stone building on croft Number 7 Achachork, Portree, Isle of Skye.
Designed by Skye-based award winning architects, it provides luxurious accommodation for two with no expense spared in its construction and fitting out.
The bedroom's King-size canopied double bed and fitted furniture has been specially built by Scotland's biggest hotel furnisher. There are views of Ben Tianavaig to the east and the rolling moors to the west or satellite tv all from the comfort of your bed.
The bathroom has a large oval bath, walk in multi-head shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin, and all towels will be provided along with little extras.
The kitchen, fitted out in solid oak, provides dual-fuel cooking (gas hob), microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, and breakfast bar.
The living area has a cathedral ceiling up to rafter level and its huge picture windows look south to Portree and the Cuillin mountains, and west with its promise of spectacular sunsets. Lounge here enjoying the views, or widescreen satellite tv or - simplicity itself - the contemporary HWAM Vivaldi wood-burning stove. There is a cosy dining area next to the west window for romantic dinners.
The Bothy has been built with leisure in mind. Ascend the spiral staircase to the leisure suite for a Finnish sauna, exercise machines, and invigorating shower. Or check your email or favourite websites on the broadband enabled PC. A FREE telephone is provided too.
You will not lack any home comforts in our beautiful cottage-next-door - the Bothy at Number 7, central for visiting all areas of Skye.
