The Bungalow

This well presented 2 bedroom detached bungalow is set in lovely gardens with stunning views of the cairngorm mountains (refurbished Autumn 2010).

The delightful bright property is situated in the dalnabay area of Aviemore which is a quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance there is the steam train, dalfaber country club( with leisure facilities) and Aviemore village is a ten minute walk. The bungalow is perfectly situated for walking, ski-ing, fishing, cycling and outdoor holidays or a relaxing family break with kids.
The property is a cosy well kept house with ample space to sleep up to 5 people comfortably. It benefits from electric storage heating and a stove fire in the lounge area. The property has been fully refurbished in October 2010 including new kitchen, bathroom, flooring and decoration.

Living room:

Large spacious bright room with 2 sofas, HD flat screen TV with satellite, DVD player and a stove fire. Decorated to a high standard. Large window facing the front of the property. 2 storage heaters.

Dining area

Spacious area with large dining table with 4 chairs, CD player and games. Freshly decorated. Storage heater.

Kitchen

Fully fitted units with dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle. Window to back of property and backdoor access the garden. Storage heater.

Bathroom

3 piece white bathroom suite with white bathroom storage unit and worktops. Electric heater and window to side of property.

Bedroom 1- double

A tranquil room with pine king size bed, large pine cupboard, dressing table and drawer units. Bedside tables with lamps. Electric wall heater. Window to rear of house and garden.

Bedroom 2- Family room

Front facing bright room with Pine bunk beds and single divan bed. Pine wardrobe and drawer units. Wall mounted electric heater. Ample lamps for reading.

Vestibule
Entrance area with window and large cupboard for coats and outdoor/sports equipment. £1 coin operated electricity meter for electricity other than main heating system (included in the price).

Garden
The Garden is a bright sunny area with table and chairs for outside eating and a shed for storage. There is an outside drier and a driveway for 2 cars.
The property is double glazed throughout.


Aviemore

Aviemore and the surrounding area is a great place for an outdoor holiday - walking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing etc. Family holidays are great in Aviemore. Activities include steam train, macdonald highland resort with softplays and swimming. Nearby there is landmark (adventure park) highland wildlife park and Rothiemurcus estate (fish farm, beautiful walks, cycling paths etc) to name but a few. Whilst the bungalow is fully self catering, Aviemore has many great restaurants and bars if you would prefer all within walking distance. A book of local attractions and information of local restaurants is provided at the bungalow. Other activities include clay pigeon shooting, 4x4 driving, pony trekking, golf, whisky trail, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking.
The bungalow is great for a break for all seasons and train and bus links are ten minutes walk away.
We are flexible on dates and length of stay subject to a minimum 2 night stay. Access is from 3pm on day of arrival and guests are requested to vacate by 10.30 on the
