    Stylish, contemporary, well equipped and spacious, this lovely ground floor apartment is located in the attractive south side of Edinburgh and is well situated near the city centre and within reasonable walking distance.

    A fantastic base from which to explore Edinburgh, the apartment is close to many local amenities. Great local restaurants, bars and shopping including antique shops, boutiques and delis. There is a small supermarket across the road and also a 24 hour garage. Newington is convenient for the Meadows, Edinburgh University, The Queen's Hall, Royal Commonwealth Pool and Arthur's Seat. It is about a 20min walk from the Royal Mile. Bus stop servicing city centre conveniently close to apartment. The apartment is also within reasonable walking distance into the city centre and the walk into town provides the opportunity to investigate many interesting shops and points of interest such as the Edinburgh Meadows and Edinburgh University.

    Comfortable open plan living/dining/kitchen with TV, Digital Box, DVD player and CD Player. Selection of Books and DVDs. Beautiful luxury designer fitted kitchen with full cooking facilities including oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Crockery and cooking utensils for 6. Smart bathroom with shower over the bath. Utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and iron.

    The apartment has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 (+2). One king sized double bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds (each 2'6'' wide) which can be converted to a zip-linked king sized double on request. Double sofa bed in living area. Travel cot on application. Wooden floors throughout and carpeted bedrooms. Freshly laundered bed linen and towels provided. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival.

    Minimum stay is 2 nights and we are flexible with arrival dates. During the weekends, there is free on-street parking on nearby streets and during the week, there is free on-street parking on streets about a 5min walk from the apartment. The apartment is fitted with an heat exchange system to keep you cosy in the winter and cool and well ventilated in the summer. Each room has a thermostatically controlled electric radiator.

    The apartment is ground floor and there are 3 steps up to the front door.

    A £200 refundable breakage deposit is to be paid to the owner upon payment of the balance. This will be refunded in full, 14 days after the end of the stay, provided there are no damages to the apartment or its contents"

    For arrivals later than 8.30 pm a late check in fee of £25 applies. Last check in is 10 p.m

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- Exit TIC onto Princes Street, turn left along Princes Street and second left onto the Mound. Take the No. 42 bus. The journey is about 10 minutes. Look out for the National Library of Scotland's Map Library at the junction of Grange Rd, Salisbury place and Causewayside. Prepare to get off bus, on passing The Old Bell Pub. The apartment is to the left of the Old Bell. Press buzzer for 'Morris'.

    Getting there by railway:- From the Market Street exit, turn right and continue straight on, through the mini roundabout, and up Bank Street to The Mound. Take the no 42 bus up the hill. The bus journey to the flat is about 10 minutes. Look out for the National Library of Scotland's Map Library at the junction of Grange Rd, Salisbury lace and Causewayside. Get off the bus on passing The Old Bell Pub. 215 Causewayside is to the left of the Old Bell. Press the buzzer for 'Morris'.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Take the Express Shuttle bus from Stand 19 just outside the UK arrivals hall into the city centre (buses approximately every 10 minutes, fare £3 single, £5 open return). Exit bus at Waverley Bridge, just off Princes street. Follow instructions as above.
