"The Clachan" offers high quality accommodaiton for no more than 6 guests assuring you of receiving our personal attention at all times.  We are founder members of "Scotland's Best B & B's, which is a network of high quality bed and breakfasts around Scotland. It is the perfect base to visit John O'Groats, Castle of Mey, Dunnet Head, Duncansby Head, Wick Heritage Centre or maybe take a trip on the Seacoast around the beautiful rugged coastline of Caithness.  Ideal if you want to do a day trip over to the Orkney Islands or visit Pulteney Distillery who takes the crown for World Whisky of the year 2012 in the Jim Murray bible.  We are approximately ten-minutes walk from the centre of town where you will find a range of restaurants, pubs and hotels to cater for your meals.  We have achieved 4 Gold Stars with the Scotttish Tourist Board and 4 Stars Highly Commended with the A. A.
