Cloister House was built in 1815 by John Smith of Darnick as a residence for the minister of the local parish church. Now offering spacious accommodation for 8, the house is furnished in an elegant Georgian style. The entrance hall leads into the drawing room on the left with the dining room on the right. Both benefit from open fires. In addition to the gracious reception rooms, the ground floor offers a large fully fitted kitchen, separate utility room and drying room. Upstairs there are two spacious double bedrooms with views over Melrose Abbey and two charming twin rooms. The first floor offers two bathrooms, the larger one boasting a roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. An attic floor games room houses a pool table. Garden furniture is also provided. A perfect location from which to explore the Scottish Borders or Edinburgh.
