The Crail Cottage

Overview

Many of Fife's best known golf courses lie along the coast, with the most famous of all in St Andrews, the "Home of Golf". The town was once the ecclesiastical centre of the nation and boast Scotland's oldest university, as well as the sweeping beach featured in the film, "Chariots of Fire".

But it is not only the coast that you will find places of interest in Fife. Inland, there is beautiful, rolling countryside which rises to the heather covered Lomond Hills. There are forests, lochs and country parks, stone circles, palaces and historic houses - all just a short diversion from the tourist routes.

And even if you do not have your own car, you can reach all parts of the Fife Coastal Tourist Route by public transport - buses run frequent services along every section of the route. Alternatively you can follow the route under your own steam. The Fife Coastal Path hugs the coastline from the Forth Bridges to the Tay Bridge, or you can follow the many dedicated cycle paths of the Kingdom of the Fife Millennium Cycle Ways. The accommodation comprises; on the ground floor and open plan L' shaped kitchen/dining-lounge area. Fully equiped with all home form home facilities. Downstairs cloakroom/w.c. and under stair storage. These are accessed from the pavement via an entrance vestibule and 'L' shaped tiled floor hallway. A left hand turn stairway leads up to two bedrooms, the first of which a king sized double with en suite bathroom and the second a twin bedroom with tv and seperate shower room.

A particularly useful feature of the property is the outside store, facing west most. Which provides an excellent storage/drying area for golf clubs, bikes and walking gear?
