    A small relaxing hotel and restaurant set in the stunning scenery of the Trotternish peninsula 20 minutes North of Portree on the Isle of Skye.

    Superb food with everything sourced as locally as possible with dishes created with passion and attention to detail. 5 comfortable and spacious bedrooms all with private facilities. A welcoming and friendly team to assist in anyway we can. At Glenview we are friendly and professional team. As well as 5 spacious bedrooms we have a residents lounge with a log fire to relax in front of in the colder months. The view from both the lounge and dining room over looks the Trotternish hills and glens. Our small restaurant has a daily changing menu offering two course and three course options. All emphasis is on local and quality produce without over fussing the plate. Glenview's location is ideally suited to walkers and photographers being next to not only Skye's most iconic image of the Old Man of Storr, but also enveloped by the cliffs of the Quiraing. Equally Glenview can provide a base to explore and tour the wonderful island of Skye with the team doing everything we can to ensure a memorable stay.

    Road Directions

    Driving from Fort William to the Skye Bridge takes about an hour and a half with the journey along the A82 and A87 offering breath taking scenery. From Portree take the A855 Trotternish Road North towards Staffin. We are in Culnacnoc, which is about 12 miles from Portree and 4 miles before Staffin. Postcode: IV51 9JH

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- Head North from Portree along the A855 and we are about a 20 minute drive in Culnacnoc, past the old Man of Storr and before Staffin on the left hand side.

    Getting there by railway:- Trains operate between Inverness and Kyle of Lochalsh where a bus can be caught to take you on to Skye. Check the national rail website for up to the minute train times and notices.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Inverness is Skye's closest airport.

    Getting there by ferry:- The Road to the Isles from Fort William takes you to Mallaig where you can then sail over the sea to Armadale on Skye with Caledonian MacBrayne ferries. During the Summer months, a privately run ferry operates between Glenelg and Kylerhea on Skye.
