    Sleeps 10 - The Granary is a stunning beachside steading conversion located just a mile outside Anstruther. With fabulous seaviews this house is a fantastic retreat for a family or group holiday.

    The Granary is the perfect holiday retreat. On arrival in Anstruther take the coast road towards Crail for about a mile and there is a turning down by the ruined Doocot towards the sea. This road takes you all the way to the steading and there is parking for 2 / 3 cars. Situated overlooking the sea between Anstruther and Crail, this truly magnificent steadings conversion is in an ideal spot for those seeking an "away from it all" coastal retreat. 

    The house is spacious and furnished with antique furniture, paintings, soft furnishings and accessories from countries as diverse as China, Vietnam and India and cleverly mixed with modern pieces. The large area of garden grounds to the front of the property have spectacular views of the sea. This makes for a unique house in which all ages will feel at home. Entry to the house is through the pretty courtyard. The house faces the sea and there are stunning seaviews from all the windows. Throughout the house is furnished with a combination of original antiques from the Far East with designer furniture from the UK and Europe. Once you have entered the house there is a ground floor hallway and a stairway which leads to the galleried landing and the bedrooms. 

    Kitchen/Dining/Sitting: To the left of the hallway is the kitchen and the dining area. This also has double glass doors which lead in to the sitting room.The kitchen is fully fitted with gas range cooker and electric oven, microwave, fridge / freezer. With marble work tops and slate floors, this is a lovely large cooking space which leads into the conservatory dining area. The dining table extends with ample seating for 10 people. The seaviews from the dining area are fabulous and a perfect place for enjoying a sunny coffee by the sea. There are double glass doors from the dining area to the sitting room which again has fabulous seaviews to the Firth of the Forth and the Isle of May. There is also a log burning stove for lovely cosy evenings. Comfy sofas provide plenty of seating and the floors are carpeted with rugs. There is a large flat screen TV with digital channels.

    2nd Sitting Room : The door from this leads to a further sitting room which has double doors leading to a playroom. This room has comfy sofas and doors out to a patio with outdoor seating area. The views are to the garden and sea beyond. 

    Playroom: This room is accessed by double glass doors either from the second sitting room or the hall. The room has a sofa and has toys and games for children to play with. 

    Downstairs bedroom: Doors from the second sitting room or from the hallway lead to this spacious bedroom with kingsize bed. The window view is out to the courtyard or through the sitting room to the sea on the other side. 
    Utility Room : Fully equipped with washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board. 
    Downstairs bathroom: Walk in shower, whb and wc. 

    The stairs lead to a galleried landing off which are the 4 double bedrooms, a master bathroom and one of the bedrooms is en-suite. The floors are all carpeted. 
    Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower room. With its fabulous seaviews this room is a great place to relax and unwind.
    Bedroom 2: A twin bedroom with views to the sea this room has a large built in wardrobe for all storage. 
    Bedroom 3: A further double bedroom with sea views. 
    Bedroom 4: A large twin bedroom with views to the sea and the courtyard. 

    The house has linen and towels provided, activities guide, toilet paper, hairdryer, firewood, gas central heating, local information and maps, wifi. High Chair, Cot, Child toddler bed available plus stairgate. 

    Parking: There is parking for 3 cars as per arrival details.
