Overview

This tiny village clings to the base of the towering sandstone cliffs,the seashore is just a few metres away from the main street. The whitewashed houses line the small street and The Harbour House is in a prime location opposite the lovely 18th century harbour.

Pennan is a wonderful location for exploring the coastal villages and market towns of rural Aberdeenshire.

This area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are several internationally acclaimed bird watching sites close to Pennan.There are also wonderful opportunities for walking, golfing and sea fishing trips in the area.

The Harbour House is a wonderful holiday property. It is spacious, warm and full of character. The house is decorated, furnished and maintained to the highest standards.
When you arrive at The Harbour House you can be assured that the interior of the house will match the spectacular waterfront location.

The downstairs accommodation comprises of a modern stylish dining kitchen with top quality appliances, crockery and glassware. The kitchen has a large window seat overlooking the beach and harbour.
Off the kitchen there is a small vestibule area for coat and boot storage.
A door leads through to two public rooms both of which are beautifully decorated with exquisite furniture and gorgeous fabrics.
The traditional wood panelled sitting room to the rear of the property has a wood burning stove, comfortable seating and a television set.
To the front of the property is a stunning second sitting room. Here you can relax ,chat and stay warm in front of the fire while looking out at the rolling waves.

A spectacular open staircase leads to the upper floor:
Upstairs there are three bedrooms ,a bathroom and a shower room.
The master bedroom suite has a view along the beach and you can lie in bed listening to the waves .It is beautifully decorated with fitted closets,kingsize bed , atmospheric lighting and luxury linens.
The ensuite bathroom is fully tiled and has a Japanese soaking tub ,shower and under floor heating.

The Twin bedroom to the rear has traditional wooden box beds. Once you climb up the steps into bed you can close your curtains and snuggle down .Each bed has its own bookshelves and night light ! This room has space for a travel cot if required.
The third bedroom is to the front of the property with a window seat over looking Pennan`s picturesque harbour. This room sleeps two in a double bed and is decorated with a stylish seaside feel.
The spacious shower room has under floor heating and is beautifully decorated with hand painted tiles, quality fittings and a pebble mosaic floor.

Outside the house there is a charming seating area overlooking the cliffs and Harbour.
