Originally a Blacksmith's Shop, 2005 saw significant refurbishment and a warm welcome now awaits all in our AA rated 4 star Restaurant with rooms.
The accommodation is in the Lodge (formerly the village's Victorian Primary School) which is located to the rear of the Inn; all of our ensuite rooms have recently been refurbished to the highest standards and come with all the amenities you expect from a quality boutique hotel.
Five double rooms, two twin rooms and a family/premier room all boast chic decor and a bed that will give you a perfect night's sleep to help recharge your batteries for the next day's exploring of the surrounding area.
Our growing reputation is built around the quality of the food served in both our fine dining Restaurant and the Bistro. The Restaurant was named AA Restaurant of the year for 2007-2008 for Scotland and Northern Ireland and holds 3AA Rosettes. Our Restaurant was also awarded the prestigious Gold EatScotland award in 2009. Head Chef Riad Peerbux, together with executive chef Tony Borthwick from the Plumed Horse in Leith, has created a wonderful menu mixing the best cooking techniques from around the world with fantastic local produce.
Our Restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner and on Sunday for a traditional Sunday lunch with a modern twist. The Sunday menu is different every week but always includes the option of a fantastic roast.
The Bistro food is as exciting as the Restaurant but in a more relaxed environment. You can have a fantastic 3 course meal or just pop in for a bowl of soup 7 days a week, lunch and dinner.
Bed & Breakfast starts at only £50 per person, per night.
We Offer a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal which is available Sunday to Thursday from £79.50 per person, per night.
Special Offers:
To celebrate our return to opening 7 days a week we are offering B&B on Monday night for only £55 per room based on two people sharing. This offer is only available by contacting our reservations team directly.
