Overview
The Howard is a small and discreet hotel which occupies three Georgian houses. A classically elegant hotel both outside and in, it has just 18 luxury rooms and suites.The Howard has its own intimate restaurant, The Atholl. This was originally intended as a dining room just for guests, but proved so popular with local residents - that it has grown into a properly sophisticated, luxury restaurant. It only seats 14, however; so don't forget to book.
Pre-dinner drinks and nightcaps are served in the hotel drawing room - a lovely space with curving, barrel-shaped walls and deep knole sofas to sink into after a hard day's shopping or sightseeing.
