Overview

With Leisure facilities for all the family to enjoy, we offer a wide range of packages to suit everyone, from relaxing breaks to the more adventurous among us. With stunning views and a fantastic loch side location, we also cater for weddings. The Isles of Glencoe Hotel & Leisure Centre boasts stunning views and is superbly located on the shore of Loch Leven. Situated just south of Fort William and north of Oban and only 2 ½ hours from Glasgow, the Isles is also centrally based for the ski resorts of Glencoe and Nevis Range. We cater for weddings, meetings, conferences and any other events, such as birthday parties and anniversaries.

The Hotel has an indoor swimming pool, hyroseat, bio-sauna and an exercise room, great for relaxing in or building up an appetite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our Lochside Restaurant offers a hearty breakfast, great lunches and superb dinners overlooking the loch, complemented by our well stocked bar and extensive wine list.

There is much to see and do locally and whether you are looking to relax or be more adventurous, you will always find something that will suit you.

Our friendly and informative staff are always willing to help and provide you with first class service. This ensures that our guests return to stay time and time again.

Christmas in the Highlands
Come and stay in one of our Beautiful Highland hotels for a relaxing no fuss Christmas break. The Ballachulish Hotel and The Isles of Glencoe Hotel & Leisure Centre, both situated beside the loch and surrounded in breath-taking scenery, are offering a fabulous package for a must have Christmas getaway. £115 B&B per person for a 2 nights stay with complimentary Christmas Night Buffet. Hotel has no entertainment on with this.

Thursday 30th December
7.30 - 9.30 am Enjoy breakfast in our lochside restaurant
10.00 - 3.00 pm The day is yours to explore. A days walking. or why not take a trip to Ardnamurchan, Scotland's most westerly point. A new horizon around every corner, golden beaches, spectacular scenery and breathtaking views. Can you really stay at home ?
2.00 - 3.00 pm Walk around the beautiful Lochan trail in Glencoe followed by storytelling and folklore in the lounge.
3.00 - 4.00 pm Tea and shortbread served in the lounge.
6.30 - 8.30 pm Dinner is served and we will then commence with Who Wants to be a Millionaire from 8.30pm.

Hogmanay - Friday 31st December
7.30 - 9.30 am Tuck into Breakfast.
3.00 - 4.00 pm Settle down with Tea and Clootie Dumpling in the lounge
4.00 - 5.00 pm Quizzes and Games with Winners announced at Dinner.
6.30pm - 8.30pm Book your table for Hogmanay dinner with your friends, old and new. Order your Champagne to bring in the New Year with a Cielidh band to get your feet tapping.
9.30pm onwards Our Ceilidh Band for the evening will keep you dancing through to the bells at midnight and beyond.
1.00 am Highland Stovies will be served to keep your energy levels up

New Years Day - Saturday 1ST January
10.00 am - 2.00 pm There's no need to rush down for Breakfast as we are serving a long and relaxed Brunch. This feast starts with a traditional Breakfast and as the day progresses we offer a selection of Steaks, Chops and Onions.
10.00 am - 3.00 pm A quiet day by the fire for most, but for the more adventurous, explore the area and the spectacular scenery and surroundings.
3.00 - 4.00 pm Gather at the bar for a whisky tasting session. Sample a few Malts and you may find that you change your taste.
6.30 pm - 9.30pm Book your table for dinner this evening and then relax by the fire with Colin Ramage playing Folk music.

Sunday 2nd January
7.30 - 9.30 am Breakfast and a fond farewell from all of our team.
