The Laird's Wing, Brodie Castle

Brodie Castle stands between the towns of Nairn and Forres and close to the beaches of the Moray Firth.

It is located around 17 miles from Castle Stuart Golf Course, home of the Scottish Open for 2011 and we currently have availability at this property for the Open period.

Set in peaceful parkland, this fine 16th-century tower house is packed with enough art and antiques to keep connoisseurs happy all day. It contains fine French furniture; English, continental and Chinese porcelain; and houses a major collection of paintings. The castle itself was home of the Brodie family until the late 20th century and much of the Laird's Wing has been kept as it was during the stylish Brodie family's use.

In springtime the grounds are carpeted with the daffodils for which the castle is rightly famous. Guests to the Laird's Wing can enjoy full access to the magnificent grounds throughout their stay.

Facilities at the property include:

•Shop
. Tearoom
•Picnic area
•Plant sales
•Adventure Playground
The Laird's Wing can accommodate up to 14 guests and has been furnished to an extremely high standard, with very fine furniture and a painting collection of national importance. This is your opportunity to live the life of a Laird - you won't be disappointed!

Although the apartment has been designed for self-catering, we are happy to recommend local caterers if required.

Accommodation comprises:

Ground floor: Entrance hall, dining room to seat 14 guests and a fully equipped kitchen with dining table.

First floor: Sitting room, small kitchen for preparing drinks and snacks, study with plasma television and broadband access. One twin and one double bedroom. Bathroom with WC and separate shower room with WC.

Second floor: Three twin and two double (one with magnificent four-poster bed) and a further two bathrooms with WCs.

Parking is available for up to 5 cars.

Discounted prices are available for smaller groups within 1 month of departure. Please contact NTS Holidays Department on 0844 493 2108 for further details.

The Laird's Wing, along with our other properties in the grounds of Brodie Castle (South Lodge and Cormack Lodge) offer an excellent base for exploring the Cairngorm Mountains, the Black Isle and the Moray Firth and Glen Affric.
