EatScotland Says:
A waterside setting with open views across Loch Lomond, a bustling bar and restaurant, friendly staff and an interesting, creative menu. All this and more delights the visitor to the Lodge on Loch Lomond.
Crispy Fillet of Sea Bream, lemon crushed potatoes, creamed leeks, beetroot coulis: "A ring of creamed, finely sliced leeks, with the crushed potatoes in the centre and topped with the golden skinned sea bream fillet." "Succulent fish, cooked beautifully and with a crisp, golden skin." "Softly cooked leeks in a creamy sauce, a delightful lemony kick to the new potatoes and an earthy richness from the coulis." "A most enjoyable dish, with some strong flavours, yet marrying well."
