The Mill House is a beautiful stone house set in its own spacious garden.
The top floor has a large open plan kitchen, dining & sitting area with a huge glass wall & doors leading to the enclosed garden. It has four spacious bedrooms, 3 on the main sleeping level sharing 2 bathrooms, & a further bedroom on the main living level with its own en suite shower.The two kids' bedrooms with bunks are joined, so are great for family holidays.
The property is recently converted & has an AGA as well as separate electric oven and hob, a mud room, utility area. We accept dogs! TV, DVD collection, iphone charger,books, stereo.
Clachan Cottage is a self-catering cottage located in the beautiful, scenic Scottish Borders. It is located on a quiet farm surrounded by dramatic hills, with a burn flowing through the garden. The cottage has lovely views and is completely private. It is a 5 minute, 1/2 mile walk to the village of Stow down a private drive.
The cottage has a good sized kitchen with hob, oven, large Fridge and freezer and a utility/mud room with washing machine and dryer. There is a large sitting room/dining room which seats six -seven. High chair, cot and various baby things are available with CD player and working fireplace.
Stow has a post office/general store and a coffee shop/cafe/gallery. Stow is 25 miles from Edinburgh, and a bus can be taken straight into the city from here. Galashiels, Lauder, Selkirk, Melrose and other picturesque towns all within 5-15 miles. There are many castles & places of historic interest nearby, as well as good beaches; just over an hour's drive. This is the ultimate place for ramblers, mountain bikers, or those who wish to take some good walks with excellent views! You can walk straight from the cottage to numerous trails, short or long. excellent Mountain Biking park 17 miles away at Glentress, best in the UK. Come relax & unwind! Great for families.
