The New County Hotel has flexible dining, with 3 separate eating areas, including fine dining in our new Opus One restaurant, (reservation for dinner advised on booking), Gavin's Bistro for the finest freshly cooked bar lunches and evening meals, and coffee, scones and lighter snacks in the elegant surroundings of Cafe 22.Its tranquil surroundings are ideal for informal meetings with colleagues.
Although only opened in April 2008, Opus One is fast gaining awards and accolades. To date we have received the following: Silver Award from EatScotland, which is the maximum attainable for a new entrant. Platinum Award from Hotelreview Scotland, an outstanding award which is conferred on only a handful of the finest restaurants in the country. A 'RedH' award for hospitality, also from Hotelreview. In addition, we were named "Simply the best Meal of the Year" by the 'Lady Who Lunches', in the Perthshire Advertiser, Dec. '08. We have also just been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for our restaurant Opus One. Other reviews are pending.
