Standing in the shade of a five hundred year old oak tree, this unique country inn is constructed with locally quarried slate and offers a perfect tranquil location for those wishing to escape from the rush of daily life.
The Oak Tree Inn sits at the foot of Conic Hill on the West Highland Way in the village of Balmaha which is a convenient stop over on the
first day's walk. Walkers are, of course, very welcome no matter what the weather!
Balmaha is situated on the quieter east shore of Loch Lomond in Scotland's first National Park, an area rich in natural beauty and a popular spot for fishing, walking and relaxation.
Good food is served all day in the welcoming bar with its log fire and also in the restaurant.
Our B&B accommodation comprises standard double and twin rooms, deluxe double rooms and single rooms all of which have en-suite facilities, tea & coffee making facilities and flatscreen TVs.
Open all year except Christmas Day.
