From the nearest information centre:- From the North travel south on A720 Edinburgh City Bypass to Old Craighall, join A1 signed to Berwick upon Tweed. After 9 miles take the second exit to Haddington. Go straight across traffic lights and continue out of Haddington on B6369 signposted Gifford . Continue of B6369 to Gifford, on entering the village turn right at T junction onto the main street (B6355 signposted Pencaitland). On leaving the village go straight across the staggered cross roads keeping the Golf Course on your right, for about ½ a mile. At the next cross roads, turn left signposted Redshill and Newtonhall.( no through road sign) Continue past 2 houses on either side of road, when you see 2 cottages on left, turn right , proceed past house on right . The Old Farmhouse will be facing you at the top of the road.

Getting there by railway:- From Edinburgh's Waverley Station, leave Edinburgh to join the A1 signed to Berwick on Tweed.
