Road Directions

From the North
Leave St Cyrus heading south with Wilson's garage on your left. After passing the garage take the second left. There are signs for the National Cycle Network. Follow this narrow road to the bottom of the hill. After coming out of the trees you will see The Old Fishing Station immediately in front of you and the Nature Reserve car park across the road.

From The South
After leaving Montrose head north on the A92 coast road. You will pass Charleton Fruit Farm on your left and then cross the North Water Bridge. After crossing the bridge take the first turning on the right, sign posted for the Nature Reserve and Steptoe's Yard. After passing Steptoe's Yard and the Nature Reserve car park The Old Fishing Station is directly in front of you.

Public Transport Directions

From the nearest information centre:- After leaving Montrose head north on the A92 coast road. You will pass Charleton Fruit Farm on your left and then cross the North Water Bridge. After crossing the bridge take the first turning on the right, sign posted for the Nature Reserve and Steptoe's Yard. After passing Steptoe's Yard and the Nature Reserve car park The Old Fishing Station is directly in front of you.



Getting there by railway:- The nearest train station is 3 miles south in Montrose. Regular buses run from the town to the village of St. Cyrus. There is a taxi rank outside the train station too. Alternatively, pick-up from the train station is available by prior arrangement.

Getting there by aeroplane:- The nearest international airport is in Aberdeen. Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are approximately two hours' drive away.
