ETC 4 Diamond Silver Award
Old World Country Inn (1624), beamed ceilings, open fires, central heating.
Dating back to the 1600s, the Pheasant is a traditional country inn, situated in the glorious Northumberland National Park. The present day Pheasant Inn, offers a unique blend of old and new, providing a relaxed mixture of excellent food, comfortable interiors, open fires, original beams, cask ales and wines in a stunning rural location.
On the doorstep is Kielder Water and Forest Park, perfect for walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, horse riders and wheelchair users. Visit the Observatory, probably the darkest skies in England! We are ideally placed for visiting Hadrian's Wall, the historic Northumbrian coastline, and the Scottish Borders.
Our family fun "4 Star Silver Award" inn has eight delightful en-suite bedrooms, all fully equipped with modern facilities and decorated to the highest standard. We provide a delicious home cooked breakfast served in our country styled dining room. We received The English Tourism Council breakfast award in February 2012.
