The Rutland Hotel

Situated at the west end of Princess Street the twelve individually designed guestrooms at The Rutland are the epitome of elegant glamour.

The Restaurant at The Rutland boasts views that few can compete with: Edinburgh Castle, the length of Princes Street and the village West End; it is a mesmerising location.

If sipping cocktails in the most beautiful of surroundings with first class service and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere sounds like your idea of a good time then you've found the right place - The Bar at The Rutland. Specially selected wines, beers and spirits as well as freshly squeezed juices and an extensive seasonal cocktail list designed by award-winning mixologists.

The Rutland is an Edinburgh institution. Positioned in what could arguably be classed as the best location in Edinburgh at the fashionable West End of Princes Street, The Rutland sits comfortably between the main shopping area & the busy Financial District. The Rutland is today home to one of Edinburgh's finest bars as well as a brasserie-style restaurant and boutique hotel.

Welcome to The Rutland Hotel, Edinburgh's most exciting and elegant new boutique hotel.
The twelve individually designed guestrooms at The Rutland are the epitome of elegant glamour and each comes with the latest in-room technology including telephone, voice mail, wireless high-speed Internet access (Wi-Fi), fully stocked mini-bar, in-room safe, wall-mounted flat screen colour TV and an iPod base station at bedside.
Complimentary daily newspaper, homemade muffins and real filter coffee and designer teas as well as incredible views of Edinburgh Castle are all part of The Rutland Hotel experience. The en-suite bespoke rooms are a blend of the baroque and the ultra modern. The signature white headboards and white lacquered bedroom furniture are real room features, while the pops of vivid colour bring the rooms to life.
For our guests' individual comfort rooms have luxurious bedding - quality goose-down duvets and pillows, fine Egyptian bed linens, pampering beauty products, hairdryer, luxe bathrobes, iron and ironing board.

A unique new dining experience at The Rutland Hotel.
Sumptuous surroundings, both modern and contemporary in design, accompanied by ambient music altogether complimenting the menu created by head chef David Haetzman and his team.
Locally sourced produce, served simply but with style are the key ingredients which make this new addition to Edinburgh's restaurant scene a success. Intimate dining with great service and a first class delicious menu - taking a modern approach to some classic dishes.

The serviced apartment at The Rutland offers you all of the comfort and luxury of a hotel, in the space and privacy of your own apartment.
Positioned in the ideal city-centre location, just a few yards from the Rutland Hotel, our luxury apartment features two double rooms, a family bathroom (with free-standing rainfall shower and separate bath) a top of the range kitchen and lounge area, and looks out on to a fabulous landscaped garden for your private use.
