The Spindrift is an imposing Victorian residence built in 1870 for a Tea Clipper Captain, with many original internal features, carefully restored offering eight bedrooms with en-suite/private facilities.
Set on the western edge of the picturesque village of Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife, the area boasts a wide variety of activities and interests which are all within easy driving distance from The Spindrift. We are also a short walk to the harbour and village centre.
Personally run by Ken & Christine Lawson, a relaxed atmosphere prevails and it is our aim to provide you with high standards of service and housekeeping.
Relax in our comfortable guest lounge, with the daily papers, small library, games and information on what to see and do in the surrounding area. We are licensed to sell alcohol and have a wide selection of Scottish beers, wines, over 25 malt whiskies and other spirits and soft drinks to choose from.
We have private parking in the grounds for guests and safe storage for bicycles and golf clubs. We are close to the Fife Coastal Path and the Guest House is an ideal overnight stop, where you can enjoy an evening meal after a long days' walk. We can arrange luggage transport to your next stop if required. Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the Guest House. We are highly recommended in Lonely Planet and the Michelin Guide as well as Trip Advisor where you will find reviews from our guests.
The Spindrift is the perfect location for those who want to relax in the "East Neuk"
