The Spoons Luxury Bed & Breakfast

A warm welcome, luxury rooms, comfort and delicious food in a stunning purpose built Bed & Breakfast, completed in April 2009.

Situated in the North of Skye, near Portree, The Spoons is the ideal place from which to explore the nooks and crannies of the Isle of Skye. The Spoons has 3 individually designed en suite bedrooms and an open plan guest dining and living room with cosy wood burning stove.

There are beautiful textiles, a mixture of antique and contemporary furnishings and original artworks throughout.

All 3 bedrooms have comfortable beds with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen, down pillows and duvets, (non allergenic available). They are equipped with flat screen TV and DVD/CD player (complimentary DVD library), free WiFi internet access, Roberts radio alarm with iPod dock and Nespresso coffee maker. The luxury bathrooms have large fluffy towels, waffle bath robes and organic toiletries from Purdies of Argyll.

Food plays an important role at The Spoons with the emphasis on fresh, local, seasonal produce.
Breakfast is served at individual tables in our dining room, between 8.30am and 10am, and will set you up for the day!

Choose from home made bread & preserves, pancakes, yoghurt, granola, porridge and fruit, variations on a full cooked breakfast, smoked fish, freshly laid eggs from our own hens and freshly brewed coffee and tea.
We are happy to provide for any dietry needs, given sufficient notice.

Guests can dine out in Portree where there are a variety of restaurants (9 miles away) or indeed at the world famous Three Chimneys (19 miles away and not to be missed).

Ian and Marie are very happy to help and advise with dinner reservations, can make bookings on your behalf and arrange taxis.
They are very happy to help you plan your break and advise on the many and varied things to do and visit on the island.
