    The Stanes (old Scottish word for Stones) is a particularly luxurious and yet practical self-catering accommodation set within an exceptional converted Victorian stone fronted building. The property is perfectly placed in the centre of Innerleithen within easy reach of the River Tweed, mountainbiking trails at both Innerleithen and Glentress, cycling paths,  golfing at the Championship course at Cardrona and all that Innerleithen and the surrounding areas have to offer.
    The Stanes  is only 50 mins drive from Edinburgh in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders and is 6 miles South of Peebles. There is a frequent bus service to and from Edinburgh and other Borders towns to Innerleithen.
    The Stanes provides  SECURE BIKE/SPORTS EQUIPMENT STORAGE, all fine linens (100% Egyptian cotton, boutique hotel quality), fluffy cotton towels, snuggly bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and bathroom toiletries. In the kitchen we provide dishwasher tablets and washing powder. All guests will receive a welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk and fresh fruit. All gas and electricity are included in the price.
    The Stanes sleeps up to 6 people, with full gas central heating throughout and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), spacious lounge, kitchen, drying/sun room, large entrance hall with plenty space for outdoor shoes/clothing, large South/West facing garden with unrivalled views to the hills and beyond, SECURE BIKE/SPORTS EQUIPMENT STORAGE, both front and rear door access with plenty free on street parking. The Stanes is only minutes walk away from shops, pubs, restaurants and take-aways.
     
    The Stanes Facilities:
    Bedroom 1 : This bedroom faces to the front of the property and can be made up as either a twin room or superking.
    Bedroom 2 : This bedroom can also be made up as either a twin room or a superking and has an en-suite bathroom with electric shower, W/C, washbasin.
    Bedroom 3 : This room sleeps 2 people and has metal bunks suitable for adult use.
    Family bathroom : Comprises, W/C, washbasin, bath, power shower.
    Lounge : Spacious lounge with 2 leather sofas, large leather footstool, chair, coffee table, feature fireplace with living flame gas fire set within a traditional style surround, TV, Freesat, DVD player, I-Pod Dock, DVD’s, books and games.
    Kitchen : Modern fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, extending breakfast table with seating for 6 people, coffee maker, toaster, kettle.
    Drying Room/Sun Room : With direct access from the kitchen and then into the garden, this sunny room is equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer, indoor drying rail and plenty space for storing outdoor shoes and clothing.
    Entrance Hall : This spacious area has plenty space for all outdoor shoes and clothing, information on the walls about the local mountainbiking trails, leaflets about local attractions and eateries in Innerleithen and surrounding areas. In the hallway is a large storage cupboard with ironing board, iron, hoover, buckets, and sweeping brushes.
    Garden : The Stanes has a lovely Large South/West facing  garden planted with various shrubs and flowers. It looks onto the surrounding hillside. It has a patio area with garden table and chairs, BBQ area, relaxing grass area, SECURE BIKE/SPORTS EQUIPMENT UNIT, power hose, buckets, brushes, bike repair stand, bike tools, paddling pool and a large shed available for use during your stay.
