We have 3 bedrooms of a high standard with en-suite bath or shower rooms and views of the stunning Borders hills. One room is on the ground floor and at same level as sitting/dining room.
Central heating, tea making facilities and lcd TVs in all rooms.
We have a large separate guest sitting room with log burning stove, DVDs, games, books, local maps etc. French doors open out onto a terrace where guests can sit and relax with a drink and access to a mature garden where children are welcome to play.
Ample private parking is available.
A wide choice of cooked and continental breakfast including a full Scottish is served in the dining room and special diets can be catered for by arrangement. see menu here
The Steadings B&B is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle. We are well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7 miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as well as Northumberland with Hadrian's wall, Kielder Water and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge.
Also available to let is a spacious self catering cottage which has been converted from the former granary which sleeps four people plus a cot (Z-bed by arrangement) giving luxuary accommodation where pets are welcome. See Web Site
