The Store, 1a Wemyss Place

1A Wemyss Place is a bright and spacious one bedroom flat, beside the picturesque harbour of Port Seton, a traditional seaside town 12 miles along the coast from Edinburgh.

East Lothian enjoys a sunny climate and offers plenty of interest for visitors, including golf courses, beaches, areas for walking and birdwatching, castles, historic properties and, of course, its proximity to Edinburgh.   Several visitors have also found us a good base for wider touring of Scotland.  Port Seton has good local shops (useful for self caterers), including delicatessen, bakers, butcher, supermarket, cafe, and fish and chip shop.

ACCOMMODATION

The property is comfortably furnished with full central heating, and equipped with everything you should need.   Rental is all inclusive with excellent quality bedding and linen, towels and toiletries for the bathroom and complementary tea, coffee, milk and shortbread on arrival.   Accommodation is all on the ground floor, with own front door and a small front garden, and comprises:

Living room: spacious living/dining room with TV/DVD and wifi internet, fireplace with electric stove, dining table with four chairs;

Kitchen: with cooker/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine/tumble drier, fridge/freezer and plentiful crockery/kitchen equipment;

Bedroom: with double bed, large chest of drawers and walk-in cupboard, hairdryer; sleeps two;

Bathroom: with bath, wc and basin.

Large cupboard: household equipment, inc. iron and ironing board, storage of a pull down single bed for use in the living room.

EXTRA INFORMATION

For the 13th - 20th July Open Championship at Muirfield rental is £600 for a week or £120 per night.

Children are welcome.  Pets are welcome by arrangement with the owner.   Sorry no smoking is allowed.   There is ample parking immediately outside of the property and a large workshop where bicycles may be stored.  The owners live next door and will be pleased to provide advice and local knowledge or, if you prefer, to leave you alone!

Lets may start and end on any day of the week. Weekly lets and short stays available (2 nights minimum).   Last minute enquiries are also welcome. We are very flexible.

Please contact me, Shelley Jones, by phone or e-mail.   I will then send you our own booking form by post or e-mail.   Payment of half the rental is required at the time of booking (less any deposit already paid to Visit Scotland) and the remainder due four weeks prior to the let.  Late bookings may be paid on arrival.

Many thanks. If you have any queries, please do ask.
