    Road Directions

From the A1 take the Bankton junction for Cockenzie and Port Seton. After the slip-road roudabout(s), go straight on at the next roundabout, then left at the next. You will come to a T junction with a triangular public garden on your right. Turn left then immediately right. Wind along the high street until buildings disappear on the left and you can see Port Seton harbour. You are here.

    Public Transport Directions

From the nearest information centre:- From the Tourist Information Centre in North Berwick take the A198 coastal road west, continuing straight on the B1348 into Cockenzie and Port Seton. Once you pass the Co-op, turn right at the narrow cross-roads. The road then swings left beside Port Seton Harbour. Wemyss Place overlooks the grassy area slightly further on.

Getting there by railway:- Change at Edinburgh for Prestonpans. Port Seton is approximately 2 miles. There is no public transport link from the station but a TAXI may be called.

Getting there by aeroplane:- Our closest airport is Edinburgh, with a good bus service between the airport and the city (Bus no. 100) which takes about 30 minutes, and then from Edinburgh to Port Seton (Bus nos. 129 and 26), another 40 minutes. Note: The bus must say Seton Sands as some 26 buses go a different route.

Catch the bus at the north-west side of St Andrew's Square. Alight at Chalmers Church, Port Seton and walk down Manse Lane (which is opposite the church), turn right at the end and walk along Elcho Place until you reach us. (3 minute walk)
