View from the patio. Loking west towards the residents accommodation.

Situated below the Knowe of Yarso (chambered cairn) we offer panoramic views over the Eynhallow Sound.

Looking out across the tip of Wyre, and past Gairsay, taking in the distant lights of Kirkwall, then the Point of Vastray and along the northeast shores of Orkney mainland to Evie, the Broch of Gurness and finally a glimpse of the elusive island of Eynhallow itself.

At The Taversoe, we have an established restaurant offering a selection of good home cooked meals, with vegetarian options available. Our dining room overlooks the rear garden and provides fantastic sea views. The house bar boasts an extensive selection of whiskeys.

Our accommodation facilities include a private residents lounge, separate from the bar with magnificent sea views, sofas, television, dvd and video players. We also offer a selection of local interest books, and novels.

We have three bedrooms available for Bed & Breakfast:

Bedroom 1 - double bedroom with sea views, television, wash area, shaver point and tea & coffee making facilities. This bedroom shares a bathroom with bedroom 2.
