Travelling west from Glasgow towards the Erskine Bridge either 1. A78 to Gourock, ferry to Dunoon, right as you leave the ferry,right again on to the A885 through Sandbank, left onto B836 for Tighnabruaich, right on to A886 then left on to A8003 into Tighnabruaich or 2. A82 towards Crainlarich past Loch Lomond, at Tarbet take A83 through Arrochar and Rest and be Thankful, left on to A815 then right on to A886 lastly right on to A8003 into Tighnabruaich. Both routes approximately two hours from Glasgow centre or one and three quarter hours from Glasgow airport.
