A warm welcome awaits you at The Wing where owners, James and Angie, have been running a bed and breakfast business for over 20 years.
Extremely comfortable 3 star Bed and Breakfast situated on North Berwick's beautiful east bay. This unique property, built in 1861, still retains many of the original features today which guests can enjoy in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Its situation benefits from being not only on the beach but five minutes walk from the charming town centre with many speciality shops/galleries, cafes, restaurants and North Berwick's picturesque harbour.
Our two twin rooms are spacious bright rooms and our double room, although smaller, also offers comfortable accommodation. All rooms are equipped with TV, tea and coffee complimentary tray, hairdryer, radio/alarm and free Wi-Fi.
A full traditional Scottish or Continental breakfast is supplied using local produce wherever possible. Freshly baked bread is made daily served with homemade preserves. Cereal, yoghurts, a selection of fresh fruit, ground coffee and a large selection of speciality teas are available.
At the end of the day relax in our resident's lounge which overlooks Milsey Bay towards Craigleith Island where you can watch the Gannets diving for fish or just enjoy watching the waves crashing onto the shore. We have a telescope for those who wish a closer view of the birds or other sealife and boats floating by. You will find a large selection of books as well as information on local attractions, including the award winning Scottish Seabird Centre which is only a five minute walk along the beach.
If you enjoy walking you can choose to walk along the coast to neighbouring towns or climb the North Berwick Law (613 ft. volcanic plug) or walk a section of John Muir Way which takes you through beautiful countryside. There are many castles, museums, a working distillery, boat trips to The Bass Rock and with over twenty golf courses within the close vicinity of North Berwick makes it a paradise for golfers, bird watchers and walkers alike.
