Tigh An Uillt, Shore Road, Strachur, Cairndow, PA27 8BY

Tigh an Uillt is a stylish timber clad cottage in a shore front position on Loch Fyne - a west coast sea loch.

It is in the village of Strachur and lies in an area of great natural beauty, of lochs, mountains, forests, seascapes, yet is highly accessible, just one hour drive from Glasgow.

It has a large wood burning open fire in the lounge and picture windows which look out at the uninterrupted views over Loch Fyne, the mountains and the spectacular west coast Sunsets. Contemporary furnishings and polished wooden floors give it a Scandinavian feel. The front bedroom has large picture windows which overlook the spectacular views. It has a super King bed (can convert to 2 twins) and a bathroom with seperate shower across the hall. The other bedroom has a King size bed and Ensuite shower room.  The cottage is ideal for two couples, a family, or a romantic hideaway for one couple.

It lies at the edge of the National Park and Argyll Forest Park and is an ideal hub for touring. Loch Lomond, Argyll with its islands, Cowal and Bute are all within easy reach. There are castles, stately homes, and beautiful gardens. This area is of particular interest to walkers with many hill, woodland, waterfall and shoreside walks. The area is rich in wildlife. There are many excellent restaurants nearby.  Within walking distance is a hotel, tea room, grocery store and village pub.

Tigh an Uillt is a deceptively spacious timber clad cottage. It is light and airy with polished wooden floors, strewn with rugs and comfortable modern furnishing. The lounge has two large picture windows to the front and a third window to the side, all overlooking the loch. It has an open grate multi fuel stove.
