Tigh na Cheo

Martin & Jacqui welcome you to Tigh na Cheo guest house in the picturesque village of Kinlochleven.

The village is situated at the head of Loch Leven and surrounded on all sides by mountains. The views are spectacular. Whether you are here for a day or two, or a little bit longer, there will be plenty to keep you occupied. You can walk, climb bike or just relax and go fishing or play golf. There are several good courses nearby. The village sits on the West Highland Way and is the penultimate stop on the 95 mile trek from Glasgow to Fort William.

Our accommodation consists of 9 well-appointed ensuite bedrooms, eight of which additionally have a bath, perfect for soothing those aching limbs after a long day's walk. We also have a Category 1 disabled access room with it's own entrance and accessible by a ramp. All rooms have flatscreen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, and hairdryers.

A full breakfast is included and varies from a continental option with fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereals, muffins and yoghurts to a full Scottish breakfast and scrambled eggs with salmon. It will prepare you readily for the day ahead. Vegetarians will also be looked after and we can provide a packed lunch.

Although normal check-in time is 3pm, guests are able to check in sooner, without delay, if their rooms are ready. Check out is at 10am.

Many of our guests are walking the West Highland Way in a northerly direction. They can sometimes have difficulties booking into the Kingshouse Hotel on the previous night, as, being isolated, it is often fully booked months in advance. Should this be the case, we offer a pick up and drop off service for £30 per car and guests may then stay here for two nights. They will be collected from the Kingshouse and dropped off there the next morning ready to resume the walk.

We look forward to seeing you.
