Tigh Na Cloich Hotel Pitlochry

Small Hotel

Larchwood Road, Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH16 5AS

An elegant Victorian house with stunning views, superb food and a sincere, friendly welcome.

    "RENOWNED FOR ITS FOOD"
Tigh-Na-Cloich (House on the Sentinel Stone) has a commanding position overlooking the Tummel Valley and Pitlochry, dating back to 1879 and built on a former historic lookout point.

The Tigh-Na-Cloich is personally run and supervised by Peter and Helen Williams, committed to providing a superior level of service for their guests. Awarded 3* quality assurance and many recommended accolades for Peter's food. Guests return year after year to savour the taste and skill of another creative dish.

We use the local larder provided by the Scottish lochs, hills and glens of Perthshire, our own organic herbs and garden vegetables and maintain our belief in freshness and quality of the foods we serve.

We cater for most diets, especially the health conscious, smaller appetites and of course those who wish to sample a true taste of Scotland.

To compliment our daily changing menu, our collection of fine wines and malt whiskies supplies the finishing touch.

Today, the hotel retains all its original charm, improved by luxury furnishings throughout. We invite you to relax and take time to experience the comfortable ambience and feeling of warmth, tranquility and well-being. Your holiday starts here!

Our guest lounge and conservatory are light, spacious and occupy an enviable position facing south, looking out to a panoramic view that changes with the seasons, where our guests can enjoy afternoon tea, or read from our carefully chosen library and maybe have a drink before dinner.

All our rooms are beautifully appointed and individually designed with care and thoughtful detail. All bedrooms are ensuite with sumptuous cosy beds, complimented with luxury toiletries, refreshments and Scottish shortbread.

Tigh-Na-Cloich is situated two minutes walk through the hotel garden to the town centre, close to the railway station, golf course ad Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

Together with our superb food, fresh highland air, we provide a relaxing haven in which to unwind and be assured of a restful night.
