Tigh Na Mara offers beautifully appointed, fully modernised, well equipped self-catering cottages in an exceptional location on the shore overlooking Carragreich Bay. We are 4 miles from Tarbert and the ferry terminal.
Tigh Na Mara is available as 2 individual lets or a single let for larger groups.
Tigh Na Mara provides the perfect base for those wishing to enjoy activities such as walking, fishing, cycling, sea kayaking and, for those just wanting to relax, it offers comfortable and tranquil surroundings. Tigh Na Mara self-catering accommodation offers the perfect location to unwind and sample the tranquillity of the Western Isles.
Newly renovated and tastefully decorated, Tigh Na Mara offers two high quality self contained cottages with all modern conveniences:
the main house (sleeps 5/7) has 1 public room, 3 bedrooms (1 KS double, 1 twin, 1 single), large dining /kitchen, bathroom, and WC;
the End House (sleeps 2/3) offers 1 public room, KS double bedroom, kitchen, and shower room.
In addition, there is a communal area suitable for storing bikes and drying off wet clothing. Both properties have TVs, DVD players, books and games should holiday makers encounter the occasional rainy day!
The cottages are located in a very sheltered position on the shore, overlooking Carragreich Bay to the island of Scotasay, and are clearly visible from the ferry as is heads towards Tarbert.
