Public Transport Directions

· FROM THE SKYE BRIDGE :-

Leave the Skye Bridge and take the 3rd exit at the mini roundabout heading on the A87 for Broadford.

Travel approximately 4.5 miles until you come upon the small township of Breakish and look out for the Red Skye Restaurant (old white schoolhouse) on your left. You will need to turn sharp right about 100 metres after the restaurant onto a single track road and follow it for 300 metres until you come to a small offset crossroads. Turn right at the crossroads and we are 250 metres further on ,the 2nd house on the right.

Total journey time from the Skye Bridge-10 minutes.

· FROM THE MALLAIG FERRY :- (Check timetables VERY carefully)

Leave the ferry and head on the main road to Broadford, theA851, driving for approximately 15 miles until you join the A87. Turn right and head through the small township of Scullamus into Breakish.

After about half a mile, look out for a left hand fork at the top of the hill with a sign for Lower Breakish. Take this road which runs parallel to the main road. It is single track. You will pass through a small set of crossroads and then we are 250 metres along on the right. ( 2nd house on the right )

If you pass the Red Skye Restaurant on your right you have gone too far on the main road .

If this happens just take the sharp left turn about 100 yards before the restaurant. It is also marked Lower Breakish.

Once you have taken the left turn off the main road you will come to a small offset crossroads , turn right and we are 250 metres along on the right.

Total journey time from Armadale:- 30-40 minutes.

· FROM PORTREE

Take the A87 road from Portree to Broadford. Drive through Broadford towards Kyleakin for 2 miles until you come to a sign for Breakish. Approximately 200 yards after this sign look out for a left hand fork at the top of the hill with a sign for Lower Breakish (opposite a bus stand). Take this road which runs parallel to the main road. It is single track. You will pass through a small set of crossroads and then we are 250 metres along on the right. ( 2nd house on the right )

If you pass the Red Skye Restaurant on your right you have gone too far on the main road .

If this happens just take the sharp left turn 100 metres before the restaurant. It is also marked Lower Breakish.

Once you have taken the left turn off the main road you will come to a small offset crossroads , turn right and we are 250 metres along on the right.

Total journey time from Armadale:- 30-40 minutes.
