Welcome to Torran Bed and Breakfast
 
Located in Loggie, 12 miles from Ullapool, At Torran a warm Highland welcome awaits you from Mairi and family, at this traditional working croft, where you'll find yourself immersed in a beautiful setting with all your home-from-home comforts.
 
Fresh Highland air, stunning and spectacular scenery, crystal clear waters, an abundance of wildlife, all these ingredients will make your stay at Torran even more memorable, be it for a day, a week or longer, with excellent facilities and supreme comfort, Torran is the perfect base to unwind and relax during your time in the Highlands.  
 
Each morning you'll experience a satisfying breakfast using award winning local sausages, our own free range eggs, served in the dining room, which benefits from large picture-windows overlooking the loch. 
 
Located across the loch from the fishing village of Ullapool, Torran is a leisurely 1 hour drive from Inverness, 2 hours from Isle of Skye, 1.5 hours from Durness. 
 
Torran B & B is an ideal stop-over for travellers and tourists intending to travel to the Western Isles as the daily ferries run from Ullapool.
 
Stay 2 nights or more to enjoy the beautiful scenery,  taking one of the following tours.
 
Tour 1: Take a leisurely day trip to Lochinver via Achiltibuie. Visit Achiltibuie Hydroponicum, Ardvreck Castle. 
 
Tour 2: Take A832 west towards Gairloch. Vist Corrieshalloch Gorge, Inverewe Gardens, Torridon Nature Reserve, Loch Maree,
 
Take a picnic, stop for a pub lunch, and enjoy dinner back in Ullapool before returning home to Torran to relax in our guest lounge to enjoy a glass of your own wine or tea/coffee.
 
Feel free to spend the day at Torran where you are welcome to take a walk around our croft, where we have a flock of North Country Cheviot Ewes, Pedigree Luing Cattle. Feed the hens or  take a walk in the hills behind Torran where you can enjoy the spectacular views out over the Summer Isles, and the surrounding hills
