B&B

Kilmarnock Road, Kilmaurs, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, KA3 2NN

Tour House is a contemporary, boutique B&B set in a stunning Tudor Gothic country house surrounded by 15 acres of woodland, just 5 minutes off the M77.

Tour House is an elegant country mansion built in 1841 in the Tudor Gothic style, set in 15 acres of mature woodland and gardens on the edge of historic Kilmaurs. The house has been recently renovated with the aim of catering to all the needs of a contemporary boutique B&B,while the use of period colours helps retain the traditional character of the building.

Less than 30 minutes from Glasgow and Prestwick airports,Glasgow city centre and the Ayrshire Coast, Tour House is a great base for visiting and exploring the area, though lovely woodland walks, an in-house holistic massage therapist, and excellent local pubs and restaurants it makes it a superb destination for a short break. Only five minutes off the M77 and with a local train station serving Glasgow we are well connected yet the house itself is very tranquil.

All three of our rooms are extremely spacious with super king size beds, freeview T.V., and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have their own sitting room with widescreen T.V.,and an open fire, and conservatory overlooking the pond and gardens. There is fibre optic broadband access and good WiFi coverage throughout the house. We also have disabled access into the house and a lift to the first floor where all the bedrooms are.

All our bathroom products are supplied by Scottish Fine Soaps, and our delicious breakfast features locally sources sausages, bacon, eggs and mushrooms, and Stornoway black pudding as well as Aga made porridge. Breakfast can be taken in the family kitchen, the sunny conservatory or the formal dining room at guests' discretion, or if you are feeling really indulgent why not splash out on breakfast in bed with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, and bucks fizz made with freshly squeezed orange juice!
