Sitting on the edge of the Southern Upland way, this tranquil cottage offers everything you need for a truly memorable holiday.
With stunning sea views, it provides some fantastic walking opportunities, along with a host of other leisure activities.
Situated on a working farm, the cottage is a short distance from Pease Dean Nature Reserve, which leads directly to Pease Bay, a surfers paradise.
This beautifully modernised, 2 bedroom cottage offers the perfect base for exploring both the Scottish Borders and East Lothian.
Both historic towns of Dunbar and Eyemouth are within equal distance, approximately 10 miles away, offering museums, harbours, shopping, art galleries, restaurants and bars. Dunbar harbour houses the famous ruined castle, once a retreat for Mary Queen of Scots, now home to nesting kittiwakes. There is also a leisure pool with wave machine and flume overlooking the harbour. Belhaven Bay, winner of the Seaside Award, forms part of the John Muir Way, a network of walks covering the surrounding area and is within easy reach of the town centre.
Within exploring distance is North Berwick, offering some good golf, beaches, the Seabird Centre and trips to Bass Rock, covered white with nesting gannets throughout the summer months.
The Scottish Borders is known for its defenses against the English and there are a range of historic castles, stately homes and monuments to discover. Berwick - upon - Tweed is approximately 20 miles away and offers a larger town with shopping and restaurants as well as the historic ramparts which are still an imposing part of the town today.
