Road Directions
The house is about 1 mile from Blair Atholl. In Blair Atholl, turn right into the road marked to 'Old Bridge of Tilt' and 'Glen Fender'. Most of this road is single track, but with passing places. When you reach Old Bridge of Tilt, carry on up the road for a few hundred metres. The road forks at the top. Turn left towards Glen Fender. You will cross a bridge almost immediately and arrive in a hamlet (Fenderbridge). Turn left into a small road with a house called the 'Old Post Office' to your right. Tulach is located behind the 'Old Post Office'. You can park on the wide grass verge, or in the garage.Public Transport Directions
From the nearest information centre:- From the tourist information centre in Pitlochry, take the High Street all the way back through the town until you reach the junction with the A9. Take the A9 north, coming off at Blair Atholl. Follow the directions in the "By Car" section.Getting there by railway:- Trains stop at Pitlochry and less frequently at Blair Atholl (please note that Blair Atholl station is unmanned). It is possible to take a taxi from both Pitlochry or Blair Atholl stations but these would need to be arranged in advance (try SR Taxis, Station Road, Pitlochry - 01796 473931).
Getting there by aeroplane:- Edinburgh Airport is the closest airport and is about an hour and a half's drive. Inverness Airport is between one and half and two hours drive.
Getting there by ferry:- Rosyth is the nearest ferry port.
