Two Hillside Crescent is a beautifully restored Georgian Townhouse in the centre of Edinburgh offering luxury accommodation within a short walking distance of Princes Street and many city attractions.

We believe the two most important things about a Bed & Breakfast are indeed the Bed and the Breakfast. That is why all our beds are equipped with luxury linen, goose down duvets and Vi Spring mattresses; to simply guarantee a great nights sleep (doubles are at least king sized and over 6’6” in length).

Our delicious breakfast includes fresh seasonal fruit, homemade preserves and a choice of cooked breakfast using responsibly sourced local, organic and free range produce.

All of our individually decorated bedrooms have their own luxury en-suite and each comes complete with HD flat-screen TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee, Purdies of Argyll organic toiletries, free WIFI and CD/DVDs are available on request.

Waverley train station and the main bus/coach terminal are a ten minute walk away. Edinburgh International Airport is only 25 minutes by car, taxi or the frequent Airlink coach that departs every 10 minutes from Waverley Bridge.

Road Directions

A8 towards city centre, continue for approx. 5 miles.
After Corstorphine Road the A8 West Coates, at the end of this short stretch there is a diversion which turns left on to Magdala Crescent.
Take the first right turn and drive to the end of Eglinton Crescent, turn right at the end.
Take the first left turn on to Chester Street, drive straight to the end through Drumsheugh Gardens, turn left and then almost immediately take the right turn.
Take first left on to Great Stuart Street which leads on to Ainslie Place, here take the 2nd exit. This becomes Queen Street, drive straight to the end where there is the first of 2 roundabouts, take the 1st exit.
Almost immediately there is another roundabout, here take the second exit.
Hillside crescent is the 2nd turn on the left hand side.

Public Transport Directions

From Train Station

Arrive into Edinburgh’s Waverley Train station. Exit on to Princes Street. Turn right past the Balmoral Hotel and then left onto Leith Street. Walk past John Lewis department store on the left and Vue cinema complex on the right. Turn right onto London Road. Second on your left is Hillside Crescent. Two Hillside Crescent is on the corner where London Toad meets Hillside Crescent. (10 minute walk)

By Aeroplane

Arrive in to Edinburgh International Airport. Take Airlink Coach which departs from immediately outside terminal building. Coach terminates at Waverley Train Station and takes 25mins. Leave bus and exit on to Princes Street. Turn right past the Balmoral Hotel and then left onto Leith Street. Walk past John Lewis department store on the left and Vue cinema complex on the right. Turn right onto London Road. Second on your left is Hillside Crescent. Two Hillside Crescent is on the corner where London Toad meets Hillside Crescent. (10 minute walk). The smaller Shuttle Bus also departs from outside the terminal building and will call directly at Two Hillside Crescent on request. (25min)
