Veyatie is a modern, single storey, house with unique character situated in a beautiful, peaceful setting overlooking Lochinver Bay.
The panoramic view from our conservatory is truly stunning; it is the ideal place to relax after a hard days travelling or sightseeing. All our bedrroms are very comfortably appointed. Each has refreshment making facilities, refridgerator, hair-dryer, electric blanket, fan, wide screen TV, clock/radio, and many other refinements for your comfort. The showers are the powerful rainfall variety and include ashower wand. Our extensive breakfast menu ranges from traditional full Scottish cooked breakfast to scrambled eggs with local smoked salmon or continental breakfast. Cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt and fresh fruits etc are all available on a self-service basis. Given prior notice, we can vary your breakfast to suit your dietary requirements. Our guests' lounge is large and comfortable having unique character for a modern house. Guests are welcome to use the garden. We can dry wet clothing and boots etc. In addition, some washing and drying can be undertaken for long stay guests. The Lochinver area is one of outstanding natural beauty. It is a paradise for walkers, anglers, bird watchers, and casual visitors alike. The numerous Lochs teem with brown trout and the area is home to many varieties of wild animals, birds and mammals. Where better to see them in there natural habitat? There are walks to suit most levels of fitness and ambition, from local woodland and coastal walks to scaling Suilven, Canisp or Stac Pollaidh. There are also a number of beautiful white beaches nearby with fantastic turquoise sea. Lochinver is located in the middle of the 1st european Geopark to be sanctioned in Scotland. This is an area famous for it's geology and it inspires visitors with it's unique mountains.
