Waters Edge Cottage

Overview

Breathtaking views from imaginatively decorated rooms. Waters Edge is bursting with antiques and curios collected on our travels creating a unique, interesting atmosphere. Our ambience of peaceful tranquillity promises a romantic, relaxing and memorable stay.

From Waters Edge, south there is a wonderful 30 minute lochside walk to the nearest village of Balloch. En route you can choose to eat, or have a cocktail in some of the best restaurants in the west of Scotland. Alternatively you can walk 15 minutes North and take the boat to Inchmurrin Island for dinner, a lovely night out.

Relax in our Guest Lounge. A great place to enjoy a pre-dinner complimentary sherry or your own drinks (ice and fridge provided). Watch the swans and ducks swim by. French doors lead to the garden and pond. Loungers provided for those lazy sunny days, when you've had your fill of the wonderful trips and sights to see practically on our doorstep.

Step into our dining room and into the past for a candle-lit start to your day. Join our other guests and enjoy the finest breakfast produce from "Scotland's Larder". Each day a new imaginative menu.

The Cottage Suite - a romantic setting for two. A private entrance into your own sitting room with a 5 mile view across Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. Complimentary sherry and a courtesy tray are provided. The bedroom echoes the gothic architectural style of the cottage and has a canopied 4 poster bed, en suite shower room, TV and garden view.

The Garden Room - our reference to the "Auld Alliance", a little touch of Francaise. Toile de jouy linen, Lace and Crystal Chandelier, lend a fresh summer feel. TV, courtesy tray and en suite shower room. French doors to your private terrace with Loch View.

The Cranny - upstairs, bijou double bedroom overlooks the islands of Loch Lomond. You could almost be on a boat when you sit in bed and look right onto the water. TV, courtesy tray and en suite shower room.

At Water Edge we have created a little patch of Scottish heaven and we love to share this with our guests. Our aim is to show you Scotland at its best. With our unique decor and lovingly cared for home. We provide a romantic, peaceful and relaxing ambience ensuring a memorable experience that you will carry in your heart until your next visit.
