A short drive into Linlithgow brings you to a historic High Street with its high quality restaurants, cafes and bars. In the centre of Linlithgow stands the entrance to Linlithgow palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Stroll around the loch and feed the swans, explore the Linlithgow Heritage Trail or relax in a pavement café. From the centre of Linlithgow take a fast train into the centre of Edinburgh for the evening, or take a day trip to Glasgow or Stirling.
Waterside Cottage was fully renovated in 2011 and offers you self-catering accommodation of very high quality, fully modern yet retaining its 150 years of character.
