From Glasgow. Proceed on the M8 to Junction 30 join M898 to Erskine Bridge.Take A82 towards Crianlich. A82 joins the A83 (towards Campbeltown). Drive through Arrochar, Inverary, Minard, Lochair, Lochgilphead and on to Tarbert. Proceed out of the village for on the A83 and you will shortly arrive at the West Loch Hotel on your left hand-side.Public Transport Directions
From the nearest information centre:- From the Tarbert tourist information centre follow the Campbeltown Road (A83) for approximately 4-5minutes. Hotel is on your left-hand side.Getting there by aeroplane:- Glasgow to Campbeltown. Twice daily service operated by Loganair. Then by coach or taxi to West Loch Hotel, Tarbert.
Getting there by ferry:- Please see www.calmac.co.uk for ferry options. Ferry, ferry close! Kennacraig to Jura & Islay. Clonaig to Arran. Tayinloan to Gigha
