Wester Caputh Steading Hostel can be found in the village of Caputh which lies on the wonderful River Tay, 4 miles East of Dunkeld and 10 miles North of Perth in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire countryside.
Extremely well positioned for exploring the surrounding Perthshire countryside – ‘Big Tree Country’ - and all its treasures - mountain biking, walking, climbing, canoeing, wildlife viewing and many visitor attractions! We are in a beautiful rural area, beside The River Tay and 4 miles from the historic town of Dunkeld. The steading hostel sleeps 17 in 1x6, 1x4, 1x3 and 2x2 bedrooms. It has a wonderful homely, welcoming feel with sitting/dining/kitchen area with log burning stove and patio doors open on to a south facing patio area. It has 2 shower rooms with loos and an additional separate loo. The south facing garden is secluded with picnic benches and large charcoal BBQ for guest use if the weather allows. We also have the 'Hayloft' a bright, airy, tranquil room which is available for all types of gatherings when booked in conjunction with the hostel.
